Recruitment Information
The position you're applying for within the State Patrol is a Probationary Trooper. Should your application be successful you will be required to undergo several tests and examinations to further proceed throughout the core training process. Until you have completed all testing and examination you will not be considered an employee but furthermore a trainee. Once you have completed all of your necessary requirements that are required in Trooper School you will be hired as an employee of the State Patrol.

IC Requirements Applying for the State Patrol means that you have read all the requirements and are able to adhere to them accordingly. Should you disagree or have any questions or concerns with the stated requirements please contact the Recruitment Office.
  • Must possess a full unrestricted drivers license.
  • Must be a permanent citizen of the United States. (Immigrants or aliens are required to become permanent citizens before applying)
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must able to remain calm throughout situations and possess a strong open minded attitude.
  • Must have some knowledge regarding the Penal Code of the State of San Andreas.
  • Must not possess a criminal conviction for which a pardon has not been granted.
  • Must possess a 20/40 (uncorrected) vision, with normal color acuity.
  • Must be able to successful pass a security clearance test which includes a background investigation, credit and reference checks.
  • Must be in good physical shape and have the ability to pass the minimum department standards for the fitness test.
  • Must not be employed by any other government entities upon submitting your application.



OOC Requirements
  • Must have been on the server for at least 1 month.
  • Must be proficient with the English language, this includes reading, writing and, understanding.
  • Must be able to follow rules & regulations laid out by the upper commanding members.
  • Must have a working microphone and Teamspeak 3.
  • Must be able to separate a personal relationship from the way you perform your duties.
  • Must be able to take instruction given by upper commanding members.
  • Must be able to work with different types of people this includes but is not limited to age, gender, race, origin.
  • Must be at least 17 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to remain active within the faction.
  • Be of good moral character and habits, meaning that you are an individual other people would look upon as being trustworthy and having integrity.
  • Should your alternative character be in a faction that partakes in criminal activities, you must not mix the two together. You will be able to view sensitive information regarding this and therefore you are being trusted to not mix. This will be grounds for removal from the community.


The Recruitment Procedure
Applicant Stage
Step 1. Background Application Form ( BAF )
  • Upon submitting your application a Recruitment Officer will review your application and check for any grammatical errors and ensure that your application consists of truthful answers. Should mistakes be found on your application, depending on how severe they are, it will initially be declined and you will have to wait until the next recruitment opening to apply.
  • Before you submit your application ensure that you have read over all of the requirements and have fulfilled them. All the answers you submit on your application will not be able to be adjusted afterwards and they will be the deciding factor on whether you
    advance to the next stage.

Candidate Stage Step 2. Department Interview ( DI )
  • Should your application be accepted you will proceed to the department interview. This will be where you undergo the portion of the recruitment process where we get to speak to you via an interview in game and over team-speak. During this process you will be required to have obtained a working microphone (that is clear) and have Teamspeak 3 fully functioning. During this portion of the testing the Recruitment Officer will evaluate your role play skills and allow you to show us what you're all about!


Step 3. Pre-Employment Questionnaire ( QE )
  • During this exam you will be given a series of short answer, long answer and, multiple choice questions. This will give us a more in-depth view on how you read and write English. It will also allow us to understand how you believe the best way to handle certain Police related scenarios should be.



Academy Phase Step 4. Academy ( AE )
  • After completing your Pre-Employment Questionnaire and interview stages, should you be successful, you will then be hired as a Cadet Trooper. Once you become a Cadet Trooper you will undergo various types of training which will consist of different types of scenarios. During the Academy phase it is important that you try and grasp every little bit of information that you can as it will come in handy for your Post Academy Examination. Throughout this phase there will be extensive theory and practical education in regards to department protocol, procedures and standards. This stage will also consist of physical activity in regards to your fitness testing.


Step 5. Post Academy Examination ( PAE )
  • Once you have completed the Academy Examination you will be required to complete a Post Academy Exam. This exam will give us insight on all the information you have retained throughout your Academy. During this examination you will be asked a series of questions that you should answer to the best of your ability as this will be the final exam and main deciding factor to see if you will be a fit for the State Patrol.


NotificationPlease ensure that before you submit your application you have checked the scheduled academy dates & times. You must be able to attend ONE of the academy sessions provided by the Training Department. Should you not be able to attend any of the academy sessions you are asked to apply at a later date in which you will be able to attend the academy. Failure to show up to academy session(s) will give you a permanent denial for the next academy opening.
